Cottonwood Gold Real Leaf Brooch, Heart shaped natural brooch

Cottonwood leaves are a soft natural heart shape, making them the perfect gift for the ones you love. The brooch has been handcrafted using a real leaf.

The Brooch can be worn with almost any outfit and looks perfect on a chunky winter scarf or a blazer.

This individual piece of art is an ideal gift for the unique person in your life, whether it be a birthday, Valentine's, Mother's day or Christmas.

Each leaf comes on a gift card with information about the production process.

We then pop your leaf in a jewellery box, ready for gifting.

Dimensions: As the the brooches are made from a natural leaf, each piece differs in size somewhat, They range from 1.5" -2".

Made From:

The leaf to make the brooch is hand picked, then checked for imperfections, as only perfect leaves can be used to make our jewellery.

The leaf is then hand painted with a cooper solution, dried then placed in an electrolytic solution which has microscopic particles of 24k gold ( nickel free).

When this contact is made the particles of gold build up to preserve the most delicate intricate details of the leaf.

The final step is to paint the delicate leaf with the different colour finishes.

Once polished and cleaned the shiny new coating shows and magnifies the delicate minute details of the leaf.

Please note that contact with household chemicals, chlorinated water, or any beauty lotions and sprays may cause corrosion and accelerate tarnishing.

So it’s a good idea to remove silver jewellery when doing household chores and getting ready.
